1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, such as your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We also collect usage data — topics you create, lessons you complete, quiz scores, and interaction logs — to power your personalized learning experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve A-Learn, generate AI-powered curricula and lessons personalized to your goals, send transactional emails (account, billing), and respond to support requests. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell your data.

3. Your Content

Your topics, lessons, notes, and highlights are yours. We store them to deliver the service. We do not share your content with other users or third parties except as required by law.

4. Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the product. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.

5. Google Sign-In

A-Learn uses Google OAuth 2.0 for account authentication. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We use this information solely to create and manage your A-Learn account. We do not use Google user data for advertising or share it with third parties except as described in this policy.

A-Learn's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Third-Party Services

A-Learn uses third-party AI providers (such as Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Deepseek) to generate content. Your prompts and topic descriptions may be transmitted to these providers solely to fulfill your requests. We use Cloudflare for hosting and security. Each provider has its own privacy policy.

7. Your Rights & Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us. All personal data will be deleted within 30 days of your request, except where retention is required by law.

After deletion, you may sign in again with Google, but this will create a new account with no prior data. To revoke A-Learn's access to your Google account entirely, visit myaccount.google.com/permissions.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your information.

9. Children's Privacy

A-Learn is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of A-Learn after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
